Glide on the Kempen Canals with your kayak!
Unlock the Paddle Share and paddle on. If you turn left at the Geelse Kajakvaarders sports club, you'll reach the Breykenshoeve farm where you can enjoy some delicious ice cream. At 1.5 km past the Sas 7 lock you'll find a good stop to take a short break. A one-way trip is 4 km long. A round trip lasts 2.5 hours.
If you turn right on the Kempen Canals paddling route, in the direction of Herentals, you can visit "Brasserie Den Thijs". It's located just beyond the Sas 9 lock, offering a 4 km. journey. A round trip lasts 2.5 hours.
If you prefer to stay in the area, you can paddle a few kilometres between the Sas 7 and 8 locks. Afterwards you can come for a drink at the clubhouse.
You can rent 2 single-person kayaks, 2 tandem kayaks, and 6 SUPs on site!

Download the Drop in Box app (in the App Store or Google Play Store)
Open the lock using Drop in Box and follow the instructions in the app.
Take the equipment out of the box & inspect it
You may use the box to store your clothes. Use the lock.
Safety first!
Read the safety instructions.
Now take your kayak/SUP onto the water
Unlock the box, put the equipment back as you found it, and lock the box again with your smartphone.

Clothing
Paddling is a water activity. No need for awetsuit or swimwear, but do bring sportswear that can get wet. Remember tobring a towel and a spare set of dry clothing. Keep in mind that there are nochanging cabins.
